Fashion Photography

Project I: Sophia

Sharp Pinks and Hype Sneakers

I’m learning a lot from shooting various types of photography niches. Fashion photography is a bit tougher. It requires a lot of intention. A friend of mine told me that when shooting these things, you have to know what exactly you’re trying to portray. For example, if you’re trying to sell something, how will you shoot it in a way that these will be in focus. Additionally, if you’re shooting for fashion, you need to learn how to shoot in a way that you pose them properly to highlight the pieces, the entire outfit, and the faces of the models (if applicable).

Another friend mentioned that it has a lot to do with working with the creative director, but when I shot these, I had the creative freedom, as it was just for fun. It’ll be interesting to see how my photography career unfolds from here. Fingers crossed! Anyway, without further ado, here’s my cousin Sophia rocking a roaring pink outfit with her Off-White sneakers!
